TRAINING.

Working with groups and individuals to better understand their own digital wellbeing goals and to implement better digital habits to achieve them.

WHY.

If we have purpose in our use of technology, we can connect, create and learn. But for a lot of us, using a device is not a conscious choice, it’s a habit. It causes us to lose out on meaningful engagement with the ‘real world’ and the people in it. We also miss the creativity that come in idle moments, when our mind is free to wander.

In the workplace, the challenges of a 24/7 culture are all too apparent.  The negative effects include continual distraction, eroded work-life boundaries, increases in stress, decreased productivity and loss of true human connection.

The answer isn’t to avoid using technology altogether. That’s not realistic and isn’t even necessary. Instead we can focus on being in control of when we use our devices. Of course, breaking out of any negative habits is challenging - in fact it takes time. So people need a helping hand to achieve a change in their digital behaviour.

Businesses, individuals and families with their eye on the future are starting to support their staff to pause, reflect and examine how they can ensure the technology they are so reliant on really enhances their lives rather than overwhelms them.

HOW.

Understand. With our workshops & training material, we help people to better understand the technology landscape, the attention economy and how some products are designed to keep us hooked.  We reflect on what is good and bad about how we use technology, on our own habit formation, and the triggers that lead us to behave in the ways we do.

Do. We recognises that phone/life balance is different for everyone. We provide employees with the right tools to support behaviour change in a positive, fun and sustainable way. This includes frameworks for digital wellbeing, like a value- based approach, or the 4C’s Framework of Control, Connection, Content & Care.

Track. With our reporting & insights, Track progress to understand the impact that phone / life balance is having on wellbeing, work-life balance, productivity, sleep, relationships & creativity in the workplace

Our training programs are often run in partnership with Mind Over Tech.
